We at Politicule could not help but remember the two year anniversary when the Presidential candidacy race took a bizarre turn as Hillary Clinton began barking like a DOG.
Former Secretary of State Mrs Clinton chewed out her Republican rivals with the odd impersonation at a campaign rally in Reno, Nevada.
It came as the Democratic presidential candidate accused her opponents of twisting the truth.
She was giving an example when she suddenly remembered an old TV advert.
Explaining it to the audience as one of her favourite political adverts from rural Arkansas, Mrs Clinton said a dog barked every time a candidate said something that wasn’t true. She said: “(Republicans) actually, with a straight face, say that the great recession was caused by too much regulation on Wall Street. They actually say that.
“I’ve tried figure out how we can do that with Republicans.
“We need to get that dog and follow them around and every time they say these things like, ‘Oh, the Great Recession was caused by too much regulation’.”
Then she began barking – and the crowd – barked back.
Politicule couldn’t help but dig up from its Archives the video it made celebrating this historic speech. Please, do enjoy.
